About the Speaker
Manu Neelakandhan,
Director, IdeaCulture
Manu is a human-centric design consultant developing brands & business ideas,
designing experience-service-culture, and delivering training and workshops. His work spans varied scales across industries like retail, commercial, leisure, hospitality, education, health/wellness, and social sectors. A graduate from IIT Roorkee, he has
been actively working with brands across various categories, entrepreneurs,
family-owned businesses, corporates, and start-ups since 2000.
With a passion for social psychology and behavioral design and the expertise and experience gained over the years, he started IdeaCulture in 2014. IdeaCulture, a collaborative workgroup, integrates emotional intelligence and creative intelligence into modern day business, professional and social pursuits, to make work and the workplaces more human, authentic and delightful.
A design thinker, communicator, educator and community builder, Manu is a visiting
faculty at NID and Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology and a member of
the National Executive Council of ADI (the Association of Designers of India). He has
been associated with various industry forums as a curator, writer, panelist, and
speaker.
