Dr. Amit Sawant is a proven customer-centric leader with extensive experience in enterprise and consumer space, SaaS, analytics, AI/ML, and security. He has an exceptional ability to translate concepts into reality through thought leadership, collaboration, and negotiation skills; and a strong track record of delivering ground-breaking products to market. He has vast experience in building, mentoring and managing high-performing global teams.

He is the Chief Product and Business Officer at Somatix where he drives the Product, Business Development and Sales strategy. He was instrumental in Somatix’s acceptance into the T-Mobile accelerator program for Wellness Tech (< 0.4% acceptance rate) and continues the collaboration effort. He is also an Executive in Residence with North Carolina State University’s Office of Technology Commercialization and New Ventures, a Venture Mentor at NSF I-Corps, a Consultant at PennPAC, a Product Mentor and Coach at MyProductMentor, a Career Coach at HireClub, and a Leadership Mentor at Plato.

Dr. Sawant holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania; an M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from North Carolina State University; a B.S. in computer science from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (formerly known as Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute); and is Pragmatic Marketing certified.
