Rajul has 24 years of experience in solving different retail problems using technology. For the first 10 years, he worked with various retailers across US, and for last 14 years, he has been working with Tesco – UK’s leading food retailer. He has in-depth expertise in store systems including checkout systems, loss prevention within store, and frictionless shopping. In his different roles over the years, he has helped develop new point of sale solutions, launch new store formats, reduce shrinkage in stores, enable cashierless shopping journey, and manage operations for checkout systems which rang-up sales in excess of $50 billion per year.
He is currently head the product team for “store platform”, which is suite of products aimed at reducing the time to market for store systems.Outside of work, his passion is wildlife photography, and he loves to travel to find & photograph different types of birds and mammals.
