    Step 2: Configure the Workflow (Make.com)

    Using Make.com (a no-code automation builder), a workflow is created that:

    • Watches for new interview files in Dropbox
    • Pulls recent emails with a “support” subject line
    • Scrapes Reddit for threads containing relevant keywords
    • Sends all of this data to OpenAI (via GPT-3.5 Turbo)

    Step 3: Extract Insights Using AI

    With the help of carefully crafted prompts, OpenAI parses the raw data and returns a clean JSON array for each insight, including:

    • Problem or opportunity (signal summary)
    • The product theme it maps to
    • The raw user quote (source snippet)
    • Source type (interview, Reddit, email)
    • Metadata (date, file name, etc.)

    The system even detects whether the signal belongs to an existing theme or should be marked as “Others.”

    Step 4: Store It All in Airtable

    Each insight is stored in Airtable, linked to its source, theme, and context. Airtable acts as a mini research dashboard, allowing PMs to:

    • Browse insights by theme
    • Click into source text for details
    • Export summaries for stakeholder decks
    • Track trends (e.g., growing complaints around a feature)

    • All tagged, summarized, and stored in under 3 minutes
