E-learning shows the curiosity and capability of a person to do various online courses. E-learning always acts as a bonus point for an individual, when it comes to job hunting. But the problem arises when these skills require marketing in the field of employment.

One comes across a lot of sources for learning in the web. The chances of getting caught in fraud and faulty information sources that mislead you are quite high. Thus, online training is often questioned for its credibility. So, it becomes very important to anybody who takes online courses, classes or training to confirm that the source of education is credible and recognized.

Secondly, it is relevant to ensure that proper certification is provided by the given online platform. A certification, when mentioned in an individual’s resume adds a lot of value to it, especially, when the universities are supremely reputed and established internationally.

However, in India, when it comes to recruiting individuals holding online certification, different multinational companies follow different approaches. While, abroad, most of the companies do consider employees holding online qualifications, in India, the trend is yet to be established.

A commonly known fact about online education is that nobody engages in cheating as a student. Since there’s nobody demanding to test the individual’s memory or recollecting ability of the portions, there’s hardly room for any sort of pressure. The individuals study out of pure interest, which is the sole motivating factor.

Nowadays, it’s very common for multinational companies to provide additional online courses for their employees. The employees study the course in between work, during the weekends. This widens the scope of promotions for employees and in return, the company also acquires improved efficiency in terms of the work produced, which creates a win-win situation for both.

Ultimately, it’s the knowledge of the employee that counts and plays a very important role in defining an individual’s scope of getting hired in a company.
