Prof. Manohar Rao presently consults in the area of marketing analytics, and is also a visiting faculty at management schools in Bangalore, where he teaches courses in Business Statistics, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Research. Together with business partners, he has worked on engagements for market leaders such as Abbott (China market), Britannia, Godrej Consumer Products, P&G (China market), Samsung, Tanishq, Tata Chemicals, Unilever (markets in India, Russia, South Africa and Turkey), and United Spirits. Management schools he teaches at include ISME and NMIMS in Bangalore. Among the companies he has worked in are Mettur Beardsell, NELCO, Norsk Data India, Indchem Electronics and Cybertech Systems and Software. Manohar earned B.Tech. and PGDM qualifications from IIT Madras (1979) and IIM Ahmedabad (1981) respectively.
