Video Games as Products
There are two types of Gaming: Serious and Entertainment 1. In serious gaming, it is not about the entertainment as the products are built for people with cognitive disabilities. It focuses entirely on their pain points and building solutions to them. It was never about requirement but trying to know what can be changed in their lives. More than technology, customer empathy was required in this industry.2. In the entertainment gaming industry, the approach is completely different as it focuses on flamboyancy and giving ‘new’ to the customers. There is plenty of room for experimentation with technical aspects.
